This page is to answer some frequently asked questions regarding your sprinkler system.


I LOST MY MANUAL FOR THE CONTROLLER.  CAN YOU SEND ME A NEW ONE?

Unfortunately, we do not have extra manuals but you can always go to www.orbitonline.com to get instructions on programming your controller. This will give you support information for the Easy Set Logic 4, 6, 9 & 12 station controllers as well as the b-hyve WIFI controller.


ONE OF MY ZONES WON'T TURN OFF, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, WHAT DO I DO?

First off we would like to apologize.  This happens when a valve for the system wears out or gets debris in it and it doesn't allow that zone to shut off.  To fix this issue, turn the water off to the sprinkler system.  The best way to do this is to go to your back flow device and turn one of the handles (see picture).  This way we can service it without you having to be home.  You can also turn the water to the sprinkler system off in the basement.  The picture below is of the back flow in the open position.  To close it you would need to turn one of the handles so it is perpendicular with the pipe it is on.




HOW DO I ADJUST THE SPRINKLER HEADS?  

We do not recommend you adjust the sprinkler heads yourself as there is a risk of damaging or breaking the head.  A lot of the time the heads are adjusted and do not come out of adjustment year to year.  Please keep in mind wind can make it seem like the sprinkler is spraying into the street or the neighbors yard when it is not.  Please contact us to set up a service call if adjustments are necessary.  If you feel you can make the adjustments, here is a link to the manual man_5000_5000Plus_PRS.pdf. Please remember that adjusting the sprinkler head improperly can damage the head and will void any warranty.


HOW DO I TURN MY WATER OFF FOR WINTERIZATION SERVICE?

In order for us to complete your winterization service, you need to turn the water off to the sprinkler system in the basement.  Down in the basement there will be a valve and most should have a tag on them that lets you know it  is the valve for the sprinkler system.  Please refer to our home page for a picture of the open and closed valve positions.


DO I NEED TO BE HOME FOR WINTERIZATION SERVICE?

In most cases NO!  As long as you turn the water to the sprinkler system off in the basement, we can do the rest from outside!  We will leave a notice at your front door when winterization is completed.  If we do need someone home, we will let you know prior to our arrival.


I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY WIFI SMART CONTROLLER?

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your smart controller.  Your best bet is to contact Orbit directly for issues with set up or internet connectivity.  Please visit Orbit's help-center to try to trouble shoot the issue.  You can also contact Orbit by telephone at 800-488-6156.  They should be able to walk you through repairing your controller.  If you need help programming your controller most of it can be done by using the walkthrough on your app. You can contact us and we can let you know if we are able to help you with any issue you are experiencing.  


HOW DO I TURN OFF SMART WATERING IN MY B-HYVE APP?

To turn the Smart Watering feature off in your app go to Settings>Devices>Select your device>Toggle Smart Watering Off.  This will allow you to enter your own program for watering with out using the Smart Watering Feature.  You can also see more helpful tips in this document
